I’ve recently noticed, the older I get, the more risks I take (in my closet that is). I am sure you all have that moment when you are in the mood to go shopping and find something GREAT, something different, only to be disappointment by the monotony of current day retail stores.
One thing I have been doing lately is (1) looking online- which by the way, I despise online shopping- specifically non-American brands. To be honest this doesn’t really suppose me considering I feel like the fashion powerhouses are mainly overseas. And (2) searching for pieces that are a little trendier. I know so many people love to buy a ton os basics, which I am not opposed to, but I would much rather have those WOW pieces that stand out, like this fringe jacket. One thing I would advise, if you are too hesitate to go crazy with trends, maybe act on it but get it in a basic color so that you can neutralize your look a bit; and of course if you’re feeling a bit bold, add a statement piece (earrings, purse, shoes).
